What Does The Treatment Involve?
The treatment program consists of 6 weekly hypnotherapy sessions.
Hypnotherapy targets the source of the problem which is the oversensitive nerves in the gut.
Hypnotherapy helps retrain the gut-brain connection to help reduce the misfiring nerves before they reach the brain.
I will introduce you to hypnotherapy, what it is and how it will help and answer any question you may have.
We will spend time talking about IBS, how it affects you, what helps, and your expectations of having hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is very client-focused so this is very important to me.
We will talk about the gut-brain connection.
I will teach you breathing exercises and self-hypnosis.
We will end the session with trance, and my hope is for you to leave my therapy room feeling relaxed and hopeful for your future.
